Always enjoyed that exchange. Also, I fancied Susan and Angua just from reading the books, it’s significantly more unsettling I fancy this interpretation of Susan as well as in the live action Hogfather adaptation as well.

Right, well, here’s something you’re going to need to listen to and pay very, very, very, VERY close attention to.
Listen closely to Sioni Bod Da. Be aware that Bod Da translates to Be Good, and Sioni is a mutation of Johnny. Johnny Be Good. Johnny B. Goode.
Listen to it. Then listen to Johnny B. Goode. Switch back and forth until you come to the conclusion that Sioni Bod Da uses the same chord progressions.

I like to call this style of animation “CD-i animation” because of the infamous CD-i Zelda games which utilised the same style of animation for their cutscenes. But unlike the Zelda CD-i shit bomb, THIS is actually damn good 🙂 A good interpretation of Terry Pratchett’s novel.

When he’s pleading with the guitar he gets part of his Llamedosian accent back. It’s almost as if he’s himself for the first time since the music took him over, or that’s how I always saw it.

And I’m pleased with the job they did on ‘Sioni Bod Da’, it has the same effect on me the book said the song had on everyone in the audience. Fucking beautiful.
