    @Notebooked I figured it was unflattering school clothes, since in the book there seems to be a theme of whacked-out repression going on at that school.

    @SinnFein4ever Hmm, well, maybe, possibly–graaargh, okay.

    So me and one of my friends were talking about Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone. We wondered how people came down, found Harry, and brought him to the hospital ward, and decided that Hermione got up and told people. Then we realized they fought the plant and fell down the hole — how did she get up through that? My friend replied: “I think she brought either a magic rope or a ladder, and I think it’s the ladder.”

    Ah. Ah. Ah.

    @Notebooked
    So do it.
    You know you want to.
    It is useless to ressist.
    …My friend.

    @SinnFein4ever Why is it that I want to respond to that with a rather lengthy anecdote ending in a terrible pun? For crackers’ sake, self!

    @Notebooked

    I’m betting the latter.

    @SinnFein4ever Maybe it’s supposed to symbolize her maturing into the situation by accepting her role as Death, even though she does shift the rules.

    Or maybe it’s just bad continuity. Could be either or.

    Wait.
    So for the first three episodes, Susan looks like a ten-year-old, then all of a sudden, she looks like an adult?

    @sonicfun1 To the best of my knowledge they only did two animated ones. Soul Music and Wyrd Sisters, if my memory serves anyway.

    Surprising they dared to say ‘eight’. A magical number, that.

    While I don’t agree with this interpretation of the Archchancellor on most points, I have to say that Ponder’s long explanation of what they need and him responding ‘Just get me an egg’ is…cool. Very cool. As is the rite of AshkEnte.
