I see now why she picked this song for her audition. It’s like her life story, a dream that never given chance to come true. Everyone has their own time, finally the moment has arrived that her dreams become tremendously powerful and no one could stop it from becoming a reality.

@LisaBDoty If Susan performed this in the same theater performance class I took, she would’ve gotten a ton of criticism, but a lot of good-jobs as well. I never said she was a bad singer, just that she’s not as good as people seem to think by watching this video (excepting the girl who refuses to applaud Susan for her efforts). I’d say a better sign of a troll is someone who makes three posts congratulating themselves within ten minutes. Clean yourself off and search Les Mis for a nice surprise.

I don’t care what she looks like, and I think she’s a pretty subpar singer. The only reason people think she sings well is because a.) they judged her by her looks first and b.) they’re too damn used to the autotuner.

Nobody cares if a 20/30-something sings operetta or Broadway WELL, only if a child or an older person does it with average talent. Wouldn’t the old woman be more likely to have a better trained voice? People are so fucking stupid. Props to Susan for following her dream, but damn.

this reminds me of me and this horrible, judgemental person who sat next to me in music and they totally said I was a horrible singer, before i even sang. and then i did. and they didnt say that again. they were wowed. People arent what you expect them to be. Go Susan!
